That quote hit me hard recently, especially after a wake-up call from my own body. One casual basketball game, one bad landing, and suddenly I’m hobbling around with ankle pain for a week. The doctor’s verdict? Early arthritis.
Wait, what? I’m not even 40 yet!
That moment made me pause. If my joints are already sending me memos, what else have I been ignoring? Turning 40 isn’t just about spotting gray hairs (though I’ve got a few); it’s about finally taking care of my body and mind. No more brushing off the little aches or putting off the dreams I’ve shelved for “someday.”
Speaking of dreams, my wife has been absolutely crushing it on social media. Watching her grow her platform lit a fire under me. Why not me too? So I decided: if life begins at 40, why not start fresh?

To keep up with the ever-changing trends, I’m also embracing AI tools. Why struggle with hashtags, editing, or content ideas when technology can lend a hand? Even the photo I’m using on my profile was generated using AI, trained on my likeness. Because let’s be real, I don’t have the budget to rent a pro photographer or a high-rise with a view of the Burj Khalifa. If you can’t beat the algorithm, join it.
I won’t lie. I'm shy sometimes. The idea of putting myself out there is equal parts exciting and terrifying. But staying in my comfort zone hasn’t gotten me far in the digital world. It’s time to change that.
